Holkham Beach
A vast, cinematic sweep of golden sand backed by pine woods that regularly tops "best beach in Britain" lists. Enormous at low tide, wild and unspoilt.
Wells-next-the-Sea Beach
Famous for its row of colourful beach huts, huge sandy expanse and pine-backed dunes, reached by a little land train or a walk along the sea wall. Sheltered and ideal for families.
Sheringham Beach
A friendly seaside-town beach with sand and rock pools at low tide, a promenade and clean bathing water, great for paddling, crabbing and rockpooling.
North Norfolk Paddleboards
Learn to paddleboard on the sheltered tidal creeks and open coast of North Norfolk, with lessons, guided tours and board hire from a friendly local team. It's a brilliant, calm way to see the coastline from the water, whether you're a complete beginner or a confident paddler.
Beans Boats Seal Trips
Head out from Morston Quay to Blakeney Point to see England's largest grey seal colony hauled out on the sands, with plenty of seabirds along the way. Beans Boats has been running these trips for generations and knows the harbour and its tides inside out.
Cley & Salthouse Visitor Centre
Cley Marshes is one of the best-known nature reserves in the UK. Wide open marshes, huge skies, and never-ending beaches make the nature reserve a much-loved sanctuary for birds and people alike. Built into the hillside, our award-winning visitor centre offers panoramic views across the coastline and makes the perfect spot to rest and refuel while exploring this magnificent reserve.

Blickling Estate
A magnificent Jacobean mansion, said to be the birthplace of Anne Boleyn, set in 55 acres of formal gardens and over 4,600 acres of parkland, woodland and farmland. With a Long Gallery, a nationally important library, cafés, shops, cycle hire and miles of trails, one day is never quite enough.
Felbrigg Hall, Gardens & Estate
One of the most elegant country houses in East Anglia, this welcoming 17th-century hall holds one of the National Trust's largest collections. Outside there's a decorative walled garden with an octagonal dovecote, plus 520 acres of woods, parkland, a lake and buggy-friendly trails to explore.
Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure
Billed as the UK's largest dinosaur adventure park, with life-sized dinosaurs along woodland trails, huge indoor and outdoor play, splash zones and the Dippy Express train. A guaranteed hit with dino-mad little ones.
BeWILDerwood
A magical, award-winning outdoor adventure of treehouses, zip wires, wobbly bridges and Marsh Boggles, inspired by Tom Blofeld's children's books. Refreshingly screen-free and set in real woodland and marsh.
North Norfolk Railway
Ride a heritage steam train along the Poppy Line between Sheringham and Holt, taking in five miles of glorious coast and countryside. Special events run throughout the year, from dining trains to 1940s weekends.
