ABOUT The KELLING ESTATE

Conserving the Future

Dating back to 1913, Kelling Hall and its grounds have been owned by only two families since its construction.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside and idyllic views, The Kelling Estate is situated within the civil parish of Kelling just a short drive from Holt and the North Norfolk coast. The Kelling Estate is home to Kelling Hall, a Grade II* listed building nestled within acres of grounds.

In House Farming

The Kelling Estate finds itself transitioning into a new chapter in its history, with us having taken the decision to farm in house.

To undertake this, we have employed a Conservation and Arable Operative, who will be driving forward the Estate’s ambition which is to combine arable farming and conservation.

Woodland

The Kelling Estate continues to strive in its efforts to manage its 500 acres of woodland effectively. By doing so The Kelling Estate support the local environment by managing and investing in sustainable planting of woodland and hedgerow. The aim of our woodland management is not just to provide for diverse local wildlife but to benefit the local community. As with our conservation efforts, we continually look for areas where we can improve our contribution to sensitive farming and maintenance techniques, and encourage biodiversity throughout the Estate.
