This outdoor adventure park is one of only two locations in the UK, offering families a unique chance to spend quality time together in the great outdoors, exploring, doing activities and following the enchanting stories of author Tom Blofeld. If you are visiting North Norfolk from afar on holiday its a destination we highly recommend visiting, particularly for young families. Much loved by locals and tourists, BeWILDerwood is the perfect place to enjoy a day out together.

About BeWILDerwood

As its name suggests, BeWILDerwood is an outdoor adventure park aimed at letting children be “wild” and enjoy everything in nature. The park is located in Hoveton close to Wroxham, nestled within the local woodland and rivers. The fully inclusive adventure park takes advantage of the beautiful surroundings, using the woodland as the home for the mysterious characters you’ll meet along the way. The award winning forest of fun follows the stories of the woodland characters of boggles, crocklebogs and twiggles as written in the books by Tom Blofed, as they create mischief and explore the woodland.

The park is primarily aimed at children aged 2-12 years old, but everyone can enjoy the activities and events that are held onsite, even the older children, parents and grandparents. It is worth noting that some activities such as the zip wires do have height restrictions in place.

What you can see and do at BeWILDerwood

BeWILDerwood is host to a wide variety of attractions including; the Muddle Maze, Brave Broken Bridge, Slippery Slopes, Tricky Tunnels and the Sky Maze. Also included in the ticket price is face painting, story telling, den building and boat rides.

Depending on the time of year you visit you may also be able to attend one of the seasonal events, some of the most popular include The Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade and the Halloween Snagglefang’s Season of Sneakery.

Food and Drink

The adventure park offers a variety of different food and drink options at the Munch Bar and Cosy Cabin. The two designated food places cater for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free options. Visitors are also welcome to bring their own food and drink as there are plenty of places to sit and have a picnic in between having adventures.

Tickets are required to gain entry to the park and on warm, sunny days it can become very busy. If you are looking to visit on a certain day we would highly recommend booking your tickets in advance. Wild Wild Wild passes are also available which allow a named person a whole year of visiting from the date of activation, which can work out cheaper if you are frequent visitors.

Due to the outdoor nature of the park it remains closed from November until February, but its never to early to start planning next years adventures and holidays!
