Welcome ...

SusannaMy name is Susanna, and I welcome you to this website.

Yoga, meditation and deep relaxation have brought much joy and peace into my life.

My intention is to share what I have learnt and to create a place for each student's personal exploration of their body, mind and essential essence.

I dedicate my classes to the health and wellbeing of all those who wish to share this part of their journey with me.

News (updated January 2009)

Sending all good wishes for a marvellous '09.

I hope that all you plan and desire comes your way.
I am very excited about this year as I am going to embark on some very exciting professional development; I am attending a Mindfulness course for 8 weeks in January and then from October I intend to start a Mindfulness Masters Degree at Bangor University. It is a part time course over five years and will equipment me to integrate all know and love about yoga and meditation into a format which has been being used in the US to help people suffering from cancer, depression and other serious illnesses. I am starting a class along these lines as a pilot on Friday mornings at 11am - if you, or anyone you know is interested please drop me an email, Happy New Year to you and yours,
Susanna x

Term starts on Monday January 12th , half term is w/c 16th February and term finishes on March 20th.

Susanna qualified as an Iyengar teacher and taught this method for several years.
However, in the course of her own practice, especially when pregnant and then in the post natal months, learnt how important it is not to try to force the body into a fixed and rigid shape. She tries to approach every posture with great respect for each student's body; how it responds to, yields or resists the pose. Susanna still teaches with fine attention to detail but encourages students to respect their body, nature and well-being moment to moment.
