The indoor heated pool, children’s play area and all-weather tennis courts can be used by all staying and living at The Lowes. The estate boasts a Pilates and Yoga studio and also The Stable Gallery, which has a great selection of original art, retro furniture, home accessories, plus tea and cakes.

In safe hands

The Kelling Estate has been in the same family for more than a century and they intend to keep it safe for generations to come. Renovating the cottages and barns has been a painstaking process but it has paid off – the buildings take nothing from the breathtaking scenery and the family is proud to share this special place with you.

Dogs

Well-behaved dogs and their responsible owners are very welcome to stay with us. We ask that muddy paws and hairy bodies are kept off beds, carpets and furniture – please bring your best friend’s bed with you.
We guarantee that Fido will have a great time, with endless beach and woodland walks to enjoy, but please keep him leashed while on the estate. We can recommend dog-friendly pubs and restaurants – go to OUT & ABOUT

Protecting the environment

The estate is a working farm although more than half remains as unspoilt woodland. We ask that visitors respect the countryside and don’t go to places we have asked you not to. This is for your own safety or to protect wildlife and nesting birds, some of which are rare.

Being ‘green’

The estate is ‘eco-friendly’ where possible. We operate a composting system and have green recycling bins at The Lowes.

Eating In

All properties have luxury kitchens, but if you prefer not to cook, we can direct you to local firms who produce delicious ready-cooked meals for you to pop into the oven or microwave. There is a supermarket in Holt but also lots of small and interesting outlets nearby offering fresh organic fare. Go to OUT & ABOUT to find out more.
