Welcome to the Kelling Estate
Luxury short holiday breaks in beautiful North Norfolk
The perfect rural holiday retreat, The Kelling Estate on the North Norfolk coast offers luxurious, contemporary self-catering accommodation.
Spacious barns and cosy cottages have been restored and stylishly decorated to provide relaxed, country chic interiors. There’s a heated indoor swimming pool, two all weather hard tennis courts and a children’s play area with swings, slide, sand pit and trampline.
The tranquil estate is just a few miles from unspoilt beaches in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty while the charming Georgian town of Holt is a stone’s-throw away, as are historic houses at Blickling, Holkham and Sheringham. You can chill and do nothing, or sample all that North Norfolk has to offer – and there’s plenty.
Well-behaved dogs and responsible owners are very welcome and for cyclists and walkers too, it’s a truly wonderful place from which to explore the stunning surrounding countryside.
For families, for romance, but especially for those who love the great outdoors, a short break on The Kelling Estate will refresh and inspire. Find out more about Holiday Breaks on The Kelling Estate

The Estate
The Kelling Estate is a working farm with acres of maintained woodland and many lakes and ponds. Oil industrialist Henri Deterding, founder of Royal Dutch Shell, acquired it a century ago and his descendants remained its owners and guardians until recently when it aquired new ownership..
The owners are passionate about countryside pursuits and conservation and will continue thier work in these areas, the results of which can easily be seen in the beauty reflected around this wonderful estate. The estate is carpeted with the colours of nature and is home to many rare birds and animals. Where possible, ‘green’ principles are employed to continue the sensitive care of this special place.
